Wired for Connection

Wired for Connection

I believe that at our core, we are wired for social connection. Beneath our struggles, defenses, and symptoms exists a fundamental goodness—a natural capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful relationships.

Life, however, can disrupt this connection. Early experiences, difficult relationships, loss, trauma, and chronic stress can lead us to develop ways of coping that once served a purpose but no longer support the life we want to live. Over time, these adaptations can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, from others, and from the deeper sense of safety that allows us to thrive.

My role as a therapist is to help create a safe place where healing can occur. Together, we explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life while cultivating compassion and curiosity about your inner experience.

My work is grounded in a humanistic and integrative approach that honors the whole person. I help clients connect their thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences, recognizing that healing happens not only through insight but through embodied awareness. By learning to notice what is happening within the mind and nervous system, clients begin to develop a more compassionate and curious relationship with themselves.

Rather than judging symptoms or difficult emotions, we learn to listen to them. Through this process, clients often discover that the parts of themselves they have struggled against are not problems to eliminate, but experiences to understand.

Therapy becomes a space for reconnecting with your innate capacity for healing, resilience, and connection—both with yourself and with the people who matter most.
