Kim Bobenhausen

Meet Kim

I hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling and am committed to ongoing training in evidence-based and experiential approaches that support meaningful healing and growth. My specialized training includes:

  • Brainspotting Level 1

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1

  • Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)

  • Emotional Awareness and Expressive Therapy (EAET)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Masterclass Level 1

My therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, grounded in the belief that mind and body work together to process emotion. I’ll help you explore how your physical and emotional responses shape your thoughts—and how those thoughts may guide or limit you. I draw from internal family systems, somatic practices, polyvagal theory, and narrative therapy.

As an Associate Counselor, I provide counseling services under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor to ensure the highest quality of care.

Other Areas of Focus

In addition to chronic pain and illness, I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, parenting, major life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and the process of healing from religious trauma.
